Caritas Lublin has begun cooperation with the Association of Polish Ophthalmic Surgeons, whose president is Professor Robert Rejdak<\/strong> from the University Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin, Poland.<\/p>

Our priority is to raise funds necessary for the purchase of a surgical microscope,<\/strong>which, in collaboration with Caritas-Spes-Kharkiv, will be donated to the Military Hospital in Kharkiv<\/strong> for the ophthalmology department. The microscope will be used, in response to great demand, for treating both war victims and regular patients. At present, the hospital has only outdated equipment, which frequently breaks down, making this an urgent and critical need!<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Colleagues from Kharkiv emphasize that they do not have such a microscope. They only have very old and faulty equipment. The estimated cost of an optimal microscope that meets all the requirements for work on the front line is around half a million zloty,\" (around $ 130k)<\/strong>says Professor Rejdak.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Since the very beginning of the war in Ukraine, we have been supporting our neighbors from across the eastern border\u2014both those who fled the war and came to the Lublin region and those who remained in Ukraine.
